England vs India 2018: Will Review Performance After Team Manager Submits Report - Vinod Rai

In the ongoing Test series between England and India, the Committee of Administrators(COA) chairman Vinod Rai stated that he will be reviewing the performance of the Team India once the team manager submits his reports.

However, India gained the upper hand in some of the sessions in the ongoing Test series. The batsman has been inconsistent, and the bowlers did some fantastic job throughout the series. The lower order batsman of England team played some tremendous cricket throughout the series.

Meanwhile, Rai also added that he is not commenting on the performance, but there will be reports that will prove everything. After the Team India manager submits his report, Rai will start documenting it straightaway.

“I am not committing anything, but there is always a review, once the team manager submits his report, we will take a view on it.” Vinod Rai said.

India conceded a series which has raised some questions on the team’s performance.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli, who only scored 593 runs for his team in the last nine innings. India bowlers also faced some difficulties to dominate the lower order English batsman.

However, currently, England has a 3-1 lead in the Test series.

India had lost their first Test at Edgbaston by 31 runs while chasing a target of 194 following a loss at Lord’s in the second game with an innings and 159 runs.

However, Kohli’s team bounced back with tremendous performance and won the third Test in Nottingham by 203 runs.

However, in the fourth Test at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton, India was in an advantageous position in the first innings.

India was chasing a target of 244 runs. Meanwhile, visitors were 123 for three at one stage, before collapsing to be all out for 184.

Furthermore, in the ongoing fifth match, at The Oval, India is trailing by 158 runs. Well, in the first innings England posted a score of 332. And it would be interesting to see how Vinod Rai reacts upon it.
