He is Earning because of Indian fans – BCCI official

One of the BCCI officials in the recent interaction quoted saying that it is a stupid comment from Virat Kohli to ask the fan to leave India. Further, he lashed out at him saying that he is making his living because of Indian fans.

Speaking furtherly, he went on to say that the Indian skipper has violated the rules. But, in the meantime, he also highlighted the fact that Virat Kohli made his comment on a private form that has no association with BCCI.

“It was a very stupid comment to make. He should have been more careful. He must understand that the kind of money he is earning is because Indian fans have invested in this game,” he said.

But again the comment was made on his private forum or business initiative. He hasn’t used a BCCI platform so that’s also an issue,” a BCCI official was quoted as saying in www.latestly.com.

However, CoA has already intervened into the issue and will make an official statement at the earliest. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli issued a statement on it and asked the fans to look at the things in a lighter way.
