It's Wasim Akram v Shoaib Malik ahead of PSL

Legendary former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram will be once again seen in action. The 51-year-old former great is well know for all the heroics during his playing days. Akram will participate in an exhibition match during the launch event of his Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans. According to a Geo.tv report, an official of Multan Sultans team said that Akram will lead Sultan XI side against Shoaib Malik’s Toofan XI.
The particular event has been hyped as ‘ Multan Da Muqabla’ and it will take place on February 4. It is going to be a huge opportunity for all the cricket fans to witness the rare sight of watching Akram play. “Multan Da Muqabla is going to be a spectacular event for the locals as they will get to witness top players like Wasim Akram and Shoaib Malik competing head on,” said the official.
Imran Nazir, Shehzad to add to the buzz
The official also said that Imran Nazir will also take part in the exhibition match to extend his support for the Pakistan Super League. “Each team will include four members from the Multan Sultans 2018 PSL squad, two celebrities, one member from AMK Associates, two kids from local clubs and one underprivileged youngster from Muslim Hands Foundation,” he added.
Spectators will also get to see Pakistan opener Ahmed Shehzad play. Malik is the skipper of the Multan Sultans unit and Nadeem Khan is the team manager. Former South African skipper Johan Botha will work as the assistant coach of the team. Former opener Mohammad Wasim will join the team as the batting coach. The third edition of the PSL will be held in Dubai and Sharjah from February 22. The PCB is set to beef up the security measures and special attention will be paid to potentially illegal activities.
