Not only Jofra Archer has been bowling brilliantly in IPL 2020, but his fielding efforts are coming into play as Rajasthan Royals are hanging by their fingernail in the tournament. Jofra Archer plucked a one-handed stunner to get rid of Mumbai Indians’ Ishan Kishan in Abu Dhabi. Mumbai Indians elected to bat in the ongoing clash against the Royals.

Rajasthan Royals skipper Steve Smith threw the ball to Kartik Tyagi in the 11th over to break the threatening stand between Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav. In the fourth ball of that over, Tyagi delivered a short ball outside off stump as Kishan cut it. It looked for a moment that Archer was standing way inside the boundary line; however, he timed his leap perfectly to snatch the ball with one hand.

The teammates remained stunned by that effort while Jofra Archer’s England teammate Ben Stokes looked up the sky and had a loud laugh. Mumbai Indians’ captain Kieron Pollard elected to bat first and made one change by bringing in James Pattinson for Nathan Coulter-Nile. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals remained unchanged. The defending champions need only one victory to progress to the playoffs while the Royals require wins from all three fixtures and need other results to go in their favour.

Here’s how Jofra Archer’s catch sent back Ishan Kishan:
