Jos Buttler, England’s wicket-keeper batsman, on Thursday named the best bowler he has faced in the longest format of the game. It was not a difficult choice to make as he picked up Pat Cummins, who has been the No.1 Test bowler, for quite some time.
Asked to name the best bowler he’s faced in Test cricket, Buttler told Sky Sports: ‘I think Pat Cummins.
Why Pat Cummins? Answers Jos Buttler

In the last few years, Pat Cummins has improved his game by miles. His pace and accuracy makes it difficult for any batsmen to face him. Moreover, his movement with the ball, comes as an added bonus.
“He is express pace, but also relentless with his accuracy. That aggression and that skill level.
“They were a relentless attack [Australia]. They came to England with a very clear plan for that whole series,” Buttler said speaking of Pat Cummins, who plays for his traditional rivals Australia.
Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon are also on his list

It was a clean sweep for the Australian bowlers as he picked up fast bowler Josh Hazlewood and spinner Nathan Lyon some of the finest Test bowlers. He also said Lyon, the most wicker-taker for Australia among off-spinners, is the best in his department around the world.
“Josh Hazlewood, Cummins, Nathan Lyon – one of the best off-spinners in the world – get them all fit at the same time, they’re a serious team.”
Jos Buttler thinks there is a high chance the tournament can get called off due to the situation, but given the fact that it is a massive affair, he wants some part of it to get underway.
“No news at the moment. We saw, initially, that it was going to be postponed. It’s very hard to see this changing in the immediate future, so I don’t see that as a possibility at the moment,” Buttler said in a Skysports podcast. “Obviously, it’s such a massive tournament for world cricket, so hopefully some of it can go ahead — perhaps a shortened tournament.”
