Kagiso Rabada has been the lead bowler for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020. His performance has backed the Delhi Capitals batsmen and set a good balance for the side. Rabada has impressed one and all including the likes of head coach Ricky Ponting, especially after his performance against RCB in their previous outing.

Asked to bat, Delhi Capitals put up a total of 196/4 on board in the stipulated 20 overs. But RCB were restricted to 137/9 in the chase with captain Virat Kohli top-scoring for his side. The Bangalore franchise was restricted to a lowly total, thanks to a brilliant performance from Rabada as he returned figures of 4/24.

Kagiso Rabada One Of The Best T20 Bowlers In World: Ricky Ponting

Ponting said that Rabada has been rewarded for his work by being picked up to start for Delhi Capitals. The former Australia captain also mentioned that the Rabada is one of the best bowler in the shortest format of the game and his performance against RCB was pleasing.

“@KagisoRabada25’s start this season is great reward for his work, one of the best T20 bowlers in the world. Holding RCB to 137 given their power was pleasing, building off the work of our batsmen who set things up. Couple of days now to reset before looking ahead to Rajasthan,” Ponting tweeted.
