Kamran Akmal picks his favorite IPL side

However, he is now in the spotlight for naming his favorite IPL team. During a Q/A session on Twitter, Kamran responded to a fan???s question by naming Chennai Super Kings as his favorite team. The wicket-keeper batsman has played for the Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League.

He was a part of the 2008 IPL finals, where the Royals defeated the MS Dhoni-led Super Kings. The cricketer has been in fine form of late. He finished as the second-highest run-getter in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2019-20 edition. Even in the shortest format- PSL, Kamran has amassed 906 runs from 11 games at a staggering average of 60.40.

He was expecting a call-up for the T20I series against Bangladesh. But on knowing the snub, the 38-year-old tore apart the selectors??? decision.

He also went on to reveal that India???s Rohit Sharma is his favorite six-hitter. India???s white-ball deputy has been in supreme form. Rohit was instrumental in India handing a white-wash to the New Zealand side in the T20Is. Kamran took a lot many questions and didn???t disappoint his fans.
