Kevin Pietersen Wants Delhi Capitals To Win IPL 2020

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen, a part of IPL 2020 commentary panel, wants Delhi Capitals to win the tournament. Kevin Pietersen feels it is too early to predict a winner for the lucrative tournament this season but his heart wants Delhi Capitals to clinch the title under the coaching of Ricky Ponting.

Pietersen said that the IPL 2020 without crowd will be a different and new season altogether. He also said that he loves to watch young and exciting players and the ones who take risks in the tournament.

“I can’t predict anything as of now, but my heart really wants Delhi Capitals to win because I love the team. However, I can’t predict right now. It’s totally a new and different season for everybody. So, I have to closely observe the teams for the first two weeks, and only then will I be able to put my professional brain on,” Pietersen told IANS.

“I love young players. I love exciting players. I love all sorts of players. I love players who take risks.”

Delhi Capitals had ended a seven-year drought to enter the IPL playoffs last season. The franchise has Shreyas Iyer leading fellow youngsters like Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant in their ranks.
