Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli, on Saturday, led from the front as he played a stunning knock of 90 not out to push his team to a competitive total against Chennai Super Kings. His knock came off 52 balls and were studded with four fours and as many sixes as RCB finished on 169 for 4.
Deciding to bat first, RCB were off to a poor start with Deepak Chahar sending back opener Aaron Finch for just 2. Virat Kohli and in-form opener Devdutt Padikkal then steadied the ship by adding 53 runs for the second wicket before RCB suffered twin blows.
With the team being in a precarious situation, Virat Kohli did not go for the big shots early on before shifting gears in the final three overs. He shared an unbeaten stand of 76 runs with Shivam Dube who scored only 22 runs during that stand.

The right-handed batsman scored his second half-century of the season off 39 deliveries in the 17th over before scoring 37 runs in the last 13 balls he faced. And as Virat Kohli came up with another batting masterclass, the cricketing fraternity took to Twitter to lavish praise on him.

King Kohli at his freaking best. Totally set the base and took it apart in the final few overs where he simply went berserk. What an innings, pulling it together for RCB single-handedly. Class!

Said it before , Kohli is not anchor man at first he starts slow (ofcourse now became little conservative ) but back end of the innings he is as dangerous as ABD , Pollard or Russell . h<!---->t<!---->t<!---->p<!---->s<!---->:<!---->/<!---->/<!---->t<!---->.<!---->c<!---->o<!---->/<!---->1<!---->p<!---->q<!---->V<!---->2<!---->4<!---->G<!---->N<!---->N<!---->W

RCB will be looking to get back to winning ways after losing to Delhi Capitals in their previous encounter. Before the start of the game, they were at fifth spot in the points table with three wins from five games. CSK, on the other hand, are languishing at sixth spot with just two wins from six games.
