In a scintillating display of batting prowess, Devon Conway has etched his name in the record books by equaling Faf Du Plessis’ record for the most consecutive fifties for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history.

Devon Conway, who is in his second season with the CSK franchise, has now scored four consecutive fifties in the IPL, a feat previously achieved by Faf Du Plessis in the 2021 season.

In the ongoing match against the Kolkata Knight Riders, Conway once again demonstrated his batting abilities by scoring a well-compiled 56 runs in just 40 deliveries.

His knock included four fours and three sixes and helped CSK post a total of 169 runs on the board in just 16 overs, with Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube still on strike, CSK look well close to getting past the 200 runs margin.

Conway’s exceptional form with the bat has been a major boost for the CSK team, who have struggled in the past couple of seasons. The New Zealand batsman has been a consistent performer for the team and has been instrumental in the franchise’s success this year.
