India National Cricket Team opener, Rohit Sharma has been a prankster in the dressing room. Though his stories are not there for the public to go through, he likes pulling legs; especially if it is of Yuzvendra Chahal. Thanks to social media, we get updated about what’s happening behind the camera. On many such occasions, both Rohit and Chahal are often engaged in a funny banter over a tweet or an Instagram post. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has taken a dig at Chahal’s look on the front poster of a magazine. Not only this, but he also called the leg-spinner as GOAT.

India looks to lock World Cup squad

The Indian team is gearing up to face Australia in their final international assignment ahead of the 2019 World Cup. Though the Oz will travel to the UAE for a short limited-overs series against Pakistan, the Men in Blue has seven games to finalise their 15-man for the mega event in the UK. Earlier, MSK Prasad, the chief selector had said the committee had picked 18 players of which the World Cup squad will get selected.

Meanwhile, the series against Australia begins on February 24th (Sunday) in Vizag with a T20I. Bengaluru, on Wednesday, will host the second match. Later, the five ODIs will follow – March 2nd (Hyderabad), March 5th (Nagpur), March 8th (Ranchi), March 10th (Mohali) and March 13th (Delhi).

Rohit, Chahal keen on performing well against the Aussies

Of late, Rohit Sharma had led India in the two ODIs and three-match T20Is against New Zealand in Kohli’s absence. Though his records have been impressive, he couldn’t guide India to a series win in the T20Is. His performance also got dented. On the other hand, Yuzvendra Chahal had a roller-coaster ride on tour Down Under. Further, he picked his career-best figures in ODIs against Australia at the MCG – picking 6/42.

As of now, both are included in the squads for Australia series and will aim to come good.
