Kuldeep Yadav showed what he is capable of doing in the middle for the Indian National Cricket Team. The chinaman bowler delivered the goods in the crucial match to level the three-match ODI series in Visakhapatnam. He registered his second hat-trick in the ODI cricket to become the only Indian to achieve the feat. His first hat-trick came against Australia in 2017 in Eden Gardens.
The left-arm spinner first picked up the wicket of Shai Hope when captain Virat Kohli was able to complete a fantastic catch at the deep mid-wicket boundary. Up next was the former skipper Jason Holder. Kuldeep Yadav dragged him out of the crease before beating the bat only for Rishabh Pant to complete the dismissal with ease.

Then came Alzarri Joseph into the middle to face the hat-trick delivery of Kuldeep Yadav. The cautious-Joseph tried to work Kuldeep Yadav to mid-wicket but only managed an edge, which was caught in the slips by Kedar Jadhav. It handed Kuldeep his second international hat-trick.
Kuldeep Yadav picks his 2nd Hat-Trick in ODI format:
He thus became the first Indian to pick a hat-trick twice in international, having achieved the feat against Australia in an ODI earlier. This is also the first time an Indian bowler has managed to take a hat-trick against West Indies in ODI cricket. The hat-trick helped India to bundle out West Indies for 280 runs on the board.
Kuldeep Yadav joins an elite list of bowlers — Lasith Malinga, Wasim Akram, Chaminda Vaas, Saqlain Mushtaq and Trent Boult — to pick up more than one hat-trick in ODI cricket. While Malinga leads the list with 3 ODI hat-tricks, all the others have picked up 2 in the 50-over format of the game.

Notably, Kuldeep Yadav is the 4th Indian bowler to pick up a hat-trick in 2019. Mohammed Shami picked up a hat-trick in the 2019 World Cup while Jasprit Bumrah took 3 in 3 in a Test series in West Indies. Deepak Chahar had picked up a hat-trick against Bangladesh in the recently-concluded T20I series at home.
