Mahendra Singh Dhoni Meets BJP President Amit Shah in Delhi

Ahead of the General Elections in 2019, the president of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Amit Shah undertake an unprecedented step to meet with influential persons. Recently, the president of the party in power met Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Delhi as an extension of a fresh initiative.

The motive behind the meeting with influential persons who belongs to various walks of life is to inform them about achievements.

Pertinently, the BJP came into power in 2014, and it wants to highlight the schemes and works it led to as a part of the election campaign.

However, the latest meeting was part of the ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ campaign.

Amit Shah reveals on social media:

Amit Shah took Twitter to share the details about his meeting with the most successful captain of India, Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Delhi.

“As part of ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ initiative, met MS Dhoni, one of the greatest finishers in world cricket. Shared with him several transformative initiatives and unique work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s govt in the last four years”, he tweeted.

More than 4,000 functionaries of the party have received directions to meet with one lakh influential people in the country.

The party chief recently met with the Army chief, Dalbir Singh Suhag in May where he launched this very initiative. Shah met with the melody queen Lata Mangeshkar at her home in July. He informed her about the work done by the BJP-led government since 2014.

In the meeting with MS Dhoni, Shah was accompanied by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal. Besides that, Manoj Tiwari and other senior party leaders were also present in Delhi.
