New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson has signed for Royal Challengers Bangalore after the injury to Aussie quick Nathan Coulter Nile. The Kiwi international is currently playing an active role in the side.

The 27-year old is a valuable addition to the roster. Anderson provides balance to the side with his all-round skills. However, one person is not so happy leaving him in Bangalore. Mary Margaret Sham is the wife of the cricketer is the one concerned.

She has expressed her delight with her husband’s performance in the Indian Premier League this season. But she also revealed about missing him.

She came to Bangalore for the initial games, but apparently, it seems she is flying back home.

Her message read: “Couldn’t be prouder of this guy ❤ miss you already @c_j_anderson

Royal Challengers Finding Momentum

Riding high on the performances of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli, Royal Challengers are finding their groove at the right moment.

The team won an important game against Delhi Daredevils on the weekend.

Both AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli are bearing the brunt of their batting. Mandeep Singh is also quite impressive with his heroics in the lower middle-order. However, the bowling looks to be the weakest link for the team once again.

Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal are yet to find their rhythm, which could be pivotal for the team. On the other hand, Umesh Yadav is mighty impressive but only inside the power play overs. Chris Woakes is decent in the final overs but will need more support from other bowlers as well.

Corey Anderson would be the ideal guy to provide a good balance to the side. But his inconsistency and lack of form could hurt the side.

However, considering the talent that the Kiwi all-rounder has, he could be the match winner that the team are looking for.
