We Can’t Look Down And Start Worrying: Rohit Sharma
Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma was present with the commentators after the end of the game where he discussed what went wrong for his side. Rohit talked about the woes with the death bowling, although talking about the positives Rohit also credited Suryakumar Yadav and Cameron Green for their respective knocks.
“(On their death bowling) Yes, a little disappointment there, we made some errors in the field, not gonna look too much into that. Just keep our heads high, it was pretty even-stevens, we have won three and lost three, there is a lot of time left in the tournament.
“We can’t look down and start worrying about things. Yes we didn’t come out on top today. We made some errors but something to go back and look into it. (On Sky and Green) Quite happy with the way those two guys batted today, and they kept us in the game till the end. Credit to Arshdeep the way he bowled in the last couple of overs.”
Mumbai Indians now have won three games and lost three and are positioned at the lower half of the points table and will be looking to bounce back soon with the first half of the season coming to an end.
