Mithali Raj: I hope to win the World Cup, which will be my last

The 2021 Women’s World Cup is slated to take place between February 6 and March 7 in New Zealand. Mithali Raj has set her sights on it, especially because it will be her last. She also added that, women’s cricket has grown a lot in the past few years, and winning the World Cup will be a big boost for the team.

“I also hope we win the World Cup, which will be my last. Women’s cricket in India has improved a lot and has a bright future. But if we win the World Cup it will be a big boost for women’s cricket in the country. I hope we go one step ahead in the 50-over World Cup this time,” Mithali Raj said on Salam Cricket 2000.

It is, however, not certain when Raj will be seen in action again due to the novel coronavirus pandemic situation across the globe.
