England all-rounder Moeen Ali has revealed the toughest bowler he has ever faced in his career. Ali believes India’s ace paceman Jasprit Bumrah is the hardest bowler he has encounter in his career. Bumrah has taken giant strides at the International level and he is a nightmare for the batsmen. The Indian gun pacer has all the arrows in his quiver to breathe down the neck of the batter.

Bumrah generally bowls in excess of 140 km/h and has an accurate bouncer. The right-arm pacer has an awkward action and it is not easy to pick him up. Gujarat pacer is always right on the money with his yorkers and hardly gives an inch to the batsman.

Bumrah is the best in the business.

The 25-year old pacer has scalped 62 wickets in only 12 Test matches at an average of 19.24 and strike rate of 43.73. Furthermore, Bumrah has taken 103 wickets in the 58 One Day Internationals at an outstanding average of 21.88. Moreover, the talisman has taken 51 wickets in 42 T20I matches and he has conceded his runs at an economy rate of 6.72. Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah is currently recuperating from an injury.

On the other hand, Moeen Ali believes batting against Lasith Malinga is also difficult. In fact, Bumrah has got better with time as he has shared the Mumbai Indians dressing room with Lasith Malinga. Both of these bowlers make a deadly combination and that is why Mumbai Indians have the most successful record in the Indian Premier League.

“Bumrah is hard work. I find batting against Malinga also difficult,” Moeen Ali said while talking to the IANS.

On the other hand, the T20I World Cup will be played in Australia next year. Moeen Ali believes England will have a good chance of going all the way in the T20I showpiece.

“We have a very good chance just like India and Australia. Recently, we were in New Zealand. We didn’t have probably our strongest side but still, we played well. It shows the depth of our cricket. We are almost at our peak in white-ball cricket.”

England had also defeated New Zealand 3-2 in the five-match T20I series recently. On the other hand, Moeen Ali has currently taken the break from the national side. Ali is plying on his trade in the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 league for team Abu Dhabi.
