Scared by some allegations, Mohammed Shami is not the happiest person currently. Last week, Shami’s wife, Hasin Jahan brought an array of accusations against the India pacer.

Jahan charged Shami with domestic violence and extra-marital affairs. In a series of claims made by her last week, Jahan also claimed Shami had fixed matches. She also filed a written complaint against Shami.

Kolkata Police has booked Shami under various non-bailable and bailable sections of the IPC; including Section 498A, which deals with cruelty to a woman by her husband or his relatives, Section 307 – attempt to murder, Section 323 – punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376 – rape, Section 506 – criminal intimidation, Section 328 and Section 34.

Apart from domestic violence on Shami and charges of rape, Jahan has alleged that Shami had taken money from a Pakistani woman named Alishba.

Meanwhile, Shami had dismissed all the allegations and urged for a thorough investigation into the allegations. He also said it is a conspiracy to ruin his career. Meanwhile, BCCI didn’t extend Shami’s central contract.

Shami to feature in IPL:

According to mid-day, Shami will get a green signal to play for Delhi Daredevils in the upcoming IPL. The decision was taken in IPL Governing Council meeting held at the Cricket Centre yesterday.

We have principally agreed to allow Shami to play in the IPL. We felt that whatever is happening in his personal life should not have any bearing on his professional career. He is an exceptional cricketer. He will play eventually,” a top BCCI official told mid-day yesterday.

Meanwhile, CoA has initiated the investigation into the match-fixing allegation. Further, they have given BCCI’s ACU unit seven days to submit their report.
