Mohammed Azharuddin hopes Yuvraj Singh makes a comeback soon

One of India’s greatest match-winner Yuvraj Singh for a long has been unable to cement a place for himself in the national side. His fitness and batting form have been the major reasons for the southpaw’s ouster.

Yuvraj, as he is widely known amongst his fans last, played for India in June 2017. He has been out of the national team contention since then.

Yuvraj in his latest statement to the media said that he wants to continue playing till the 2019 World Cup and will make a decision on his career only after the tournament.

Yuvraj also said that his prime focus at the moment is the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League in which he will play for his hometown franchise Kings XI Punjab.

Yuvraj has been bought by the Punjab based franchise after a gap of seven years and is looking up to the IPL as a platform to make a comeback to the national side.

The Southpaw has a huge fan base throughout the country, and most the cricket fanatics in the country hope that the all-rounder makes a comeback to the Indian side.

Similarly, the former Indian captain, Mohammed Azharuddin hopes that Yuvraj makes a comeback to the Indian team soon.

Azhar posted a picture with Yuvraj on Twitter and wrote:

 “Great meeting @YUVSTRONG12 praying that he makes a come back to the #TeamIndia soon..”
