Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain, MS Dhoni has been spotted holidaying in Dubai along with his wife, Sakshi Singh Dhoni, daughter, Ziva Singh Dhoni, and a few other friends. The pictures of the same are surfacing on Instagram.

CSK endured a difficult season, as they failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time in their IPL history. The MS Dhoni-led side finished 7th on the points table with 6 wins- three of which coming in their last three games, only after they were eliminated from the playoff race.

In a rather disappointing season, there were a few positives for the CSK. Sam Curran and Ruturaj Gaikwad along with Ravindra Jadeja’s batting were their bright spots. MS Dhoni has also confirmed that he will play for CSK next year with the possible returns of Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh- maintaining the core of Stephen Fleming’s side.

It is reported that after the conclusion of the IPL, Dhoni returned to India, and then flew back to the UAE to spend some quality time with family and friends. Sakshi Dhoni has posted Instagram stories of the family. Some of the fan accounts of MS Dhoni has also posted photos of the former Indian skipper vacationing in Dubai.

MS Dhoni had a dispiriting season with the bat as the CSK skipper failed to finish run-chases – which he would have done comfortably in his prime. The right-hander scored 200 runs at a strike rate of 116.
