MS Dhoni’s Wife Sakshi Seeks Permission to Carry Pistol Due to Alleged ‘Threat to Life’
Former India skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Dhoni has sought permission to carry a 0.32 revolver or a pistol.
She has alleged ‘threat to life’, and that was the reason Sakshi sought permission. For the major part of the day, Sakshi stays alone whether it is at home or other different chores outside.
Hence, she needs protection and wrote in her application for the arms license.
However, as per reports, no issues have been found with the application yet. The process is underway. Last year it was a video of Dhoni shooting at the Kolkata Police Range which went viral. The Facebook handle of Kolkata Police posted the video.
“The great MS Dhoni takes some time off to practice his shooting skills at our state-of-the-art shooting range at Police Training School,” he wrote.
A top official said the former skipper shot both in the 10 m and 25 m ranges. Meanwhile, Dhoni will be back in action for national colours at the beginning of the next month.
India will play England in a three-match T20I and ODI series. Before that India will lock horns against Ireland in a couple of T20I’s.
Dhoni worked out alone at the NCA in Bengaluru a couple of days ago. He practised for almost two hours and was seen hitting the ball quite well.
He received 70% throwdown while Shardul Thakur and Siddharth Kaul bowled to him at full tilt. Dhoni was seen asking Shardul for his imaginary field and played strokes accordingly.
Dhoni will be a vital member for India in the next World Cup. Hence the ODI series in England will be pretty crucial for him especially given the fact that he doesn’t play Test cricket anymore.
He regained his lost touch during the IPL. He was quite superb and looked in brilliant touch during the tournament.
