Perth Scorchers paceman Nathan Coulter Nile was rushed to the hospital after he suffered from vertigo in 54th Big Bash League between Adelaide Strikers and Perth Scorchers. Nile, who bowled the 18th over of the second innings looked in discomfort after completing his over. The pacer felt down to the ground and he was subsequently taken off the field. Michael Klinger replaced him as the substitute fielder.

Nathan Coulter Nile was hit for four by Nielsen on the penultimate ball of his over. However, he felt the discomfort and immediately signaled to the dugout for attention. In fact, he delivered the final ball of the over after consulting with his captain Mitchell Marsh. Coulter Nile was taken for 15 runs in the final over.

Coulter Nile was taken to the hospital after discomfort.

“Nathan was hit with a bad bout of vertigo at the end of his final bowling over during the game against the Adelaide Strikers,” Perth Scorchers Chris Quinnell said as quoted by cricket.com.au.

“He was taken to hospital after the game as a precaution and will be monitored over the next few hours.”

Meanwhile, Nathan Coulter-Nile shined with both bat as well as the ball. However, his efforts went in vain as Adelaide Strikers won by five wickets.

Nathan Coulter-Nile smashed a quickfire knock of 25 runs from only eight balls to help Perth Scorchers innings end on the high. He was able to add the finishing touches to the two times champions innings to help them post 174 runs on the board after Mitchell Marsh won the toss and decided to bat first.

Furthermore, Coulter-Nile also delivered the goods with the ball. He scalped two wickets in his four overs quota whereas he conceded only 28 runs in his spell.

Coulter Nile has taken 14 wickets in the ongoing season. However, Perth Scorchers are the wooden spooners of the season as they finished at the bottom of the points table with four wins in 14 matches.

On the other hand, Nathan Coulter Nile is added to Australia’s squad for the tour of India.
