Virat Kohli is certainly in the best phase of his life on the cricketing field. Kohli has amassed 871 runs on India’s tour of South Africa. Kohli has almost single-handedly decimated the South African bowling department in all the three formats.

Kohli has scored one century in the Test series and doubled the tally in the ODI series. The Indian skipper was the leading run scorer in both the Tests as well as ODI series.

He scored 286 runs in the Test series and finished with 558 runs in the ODI series. Kohli’s total was more than the sum of run scored by Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma who were 2nd and 3rd on the list.
Virat Kohli’s has been enjoying his batting in the Rainbow nation, and with just one more match left on tour, Kohli has certainly made some fans in the country.

Kohli is known for his aggressive intent while leading and has received a mixed reaction for his nature on the cricket field.
This time it’s the former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly who himself was known for his aggressive style of captaincy. Just like Virat, Ganguly himself was very expressive on the field.

Ganguly said that Kohli has certainly taken the aggressive intent a touch higher and jokingly said that he needs to ask Kohli about the fist he usually shows on the field:
“Kohli has probably taken one step further. I need to ask him who does he show the fist to every time a wicket falls. I need to find that out from him.”
Ganguly also said that he has full faith in Kohli and he will take the Indian team to greater heights:
“I have full faith in Virat Kohli to take Indian cricket to the next level.”
