Not Virat Kohli As Rohit Sharma Names The Batsmen He Likes To See Bat

India star Rohit Sharma has revealed the name of the batsmen he likes to see in action the most. With not much to do nowadays due to the pandemic, Rohit Sharma once again decided to interact with his fans on social media. He had previously done a number of live sessions on Instagram to entertain the fans.
On Sunday, the star opener decided to take some questions from the fans and answered most of them. The fans asked a number of interesting questions and one of them asked Rohit Sharma to name the batsman he likes to see in action the most.
Rohit Sharma shares the dressing room with arguably the best batsman of this generation – Virat Kohli in addition to the likes of KL Rahul, MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan and other big names. He has also played against all the big name in world cricket.
But among the several batsmen he plays with and against, the batsmen he likes to see bat the most are Australia’s Steve Smith and England’s Jason Roy. Well, Smith and Roy are two of the most exciting batsmen in the world at the moment. While Smith is arguably the best Test batsman in the world at the moment, Roy is one of the best limited-overs players.
Rohit Sharma is also one of the leading batsmen in the world. He had a stunning 2019 with the bat. The right-handed batsman had his best year in terms of statistics across formats especially in ODIs. He finished the year as the highest run-scorer in the 50-over format, scoring a staggering 1,490 runs in ODIs including seven hundreds – the most by any player in the calendar year.
He was in phenomenal form during India’s run to the semifinals of the 2019 ODI World Cup, where he finished top-scorer with 648 runs. Rohit Sharma had also scored a record five centuries in the competition. Earlier this year, he was named ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year.
