PAK vs NZ Schedule 2022

The hosts, who were clean swept 3-0 in a 3-match Test series against Ben Stokes’ marauding English outfit, will welcome the Kiwis after the visitors pulled out of their white-ball tour due to a security concern last year. England had earlier beaten Pakistan 4-3 in a 7-match T20I series in September-October 2022.

A five-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand will make up the second leg of the tour, which will take place from April 13 to May 7. Karachi will host one Test, three ODIs, and four T20Is. Lahore will host one T20I and two ODIs; Rawalpindi will host three ODIs, and Multan will host one Test.

PAK vs NZ Squads 2022

Pakistan have recalled fast bowler Hasan Ali and picked uncapped middle-order batter Kamran Ghulam for the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand at home. Pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi continues to miss out as he recovers from a knee injury he picked up in the 2022 T20 World Cup final.

But pacer Haris Rauf, who had also picked up an injury on debut in the first Test against England and did not play in the next two matches, is still recovering and has been left out. Kamran Ghulam replaces Azhar Ali in the squad after the senior batter’s retirement.
