Meanwhile, Malik and her Indian tennis star wife Sania Mirza gave birth to a baby boy on October 29. The duo married in 2012 and since then have always backed each other in difficult times. However, now it will be a huge blow for Punjabi Legends, Malik was scheduled to feature for.

T10 League is a professional ten-over cricket league which started in 2017.  T10 Sports Management launched this event and is also the owner of the league. The second season of the league will commence from November 21 to December 2 and will be played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah (UAE).

This edition of the T10 League will have over 29 matches including a round-robin stage followed by the semi-finals and final in a 10-over-a-side format. This year in August, the International Cricket Council (ICC) officially sanctioned the league along with the Emirates Cricket Board.

The league will have eight teams compared to six last year — Kerala Kings, Punjab Legends, Maratha Arabians, Bengal Tigers, The Karachians, Rajputs, Northern Warriors, and Pakhtoons.

However, with few days to go, Shoaib Malik has pulled himself to be with his wife and son.

I announce with mixed feelings that I will be not be part of @PunjabiLegends_ #T10League to spend time with my family. This was a tough decision (sp since my wife thinks I should play) but I want to be with my wife and son more than anything else. Hope you all will understand,” Malik tweeted.
