With almost the entire world currently in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, quarantine has become arguably the most used word in the last one month or so. Quarantine partner has also become a widely used term as people across the world are taking to social media and other platforms to reveal their preferred quarantine partner.
Well, Australia pace spearhead Pat Cummins has also revealed his preferred quarantine partner as well as the name of that player he does not want to be quarantined with. Cricketers all around the world have been asked to stay indoors in the fight against the pandemic.
As of now, all the cricket events have been called off due to the pandemic. Talking about Pat Cummins, the Australia star said that he wouldn’t like to be locked in quarantine with his teammate David Warner. Explaining the reason behind it, Pat Cummins said that he would like to avoid staying with Warner because of the latter’s energetic personality.
“I think it would probably be Davey Warner. He’s high energy, relentless. I don’t think he sleeps! He’s just a ball of energy, non-stop,” Pat Cummins was quoted as saying by Foxsports.
As for who he would like to be locked in quarantine with, he picked his bowling partner Josh Hazlewood. Pat Cummins explained that his fellow pacer is ‘a pretty cool character’ and thus he would like to remain in quarantine with him.
“Josh Hazlewood is a pretty cool character. Very low maintenance. Give him a beer. Give him a nice simple feed and he’s happy. So maybe Josh Hazlewood,” said Pat Cummins.
