The fast bowler from Australia, Pat Cummins has picked up the biggest Indian Premier League (IPL) cheque ever handed out to an overseas player. During the auctions in Kolkata on December 19, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) signed the No. 1 Test bowler for a whopping amount of Rs 15.5 crores. And now after bagging a million-dollar deal, Cummins has revealed what her wife wants to do with the money on a priority basis.
Cummins, who last played in the IPL in 2017 with Delhi Capitals, will enjoy his second stint with KKR, whom he represented in 2015. Meanwhile, it was Delhi and Royal Challengers Bangalore, who initially wanted to rope in Pat Cummins. Both the franchises were engaged in intense bidding war while Kolkata came from nowhere to take the Australian fast bowler in their squad for the next edition of IPL.

Pat Cummins reveals what his girlfriend will do with IPL money
The invent of cash-rich IPL has provided the cricketers with a lot of luxury. Cricketers, who get a big purse in the auctions have their plans sorted, and Cummins is no different. Pat Cummins, who was in a state of shock to see his bidding, revealed what his girlfriend wanted to buy first soon after she heard about the cracking deal.
“I found a stream of it and watched it and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The first thing my girlfriend said was – we can buy the dog a couple more toys now’, so she’s got her priorities sorted,” he told reporters on Tuesday.
It will be interesting to see if Kolkata Knight Riders get full reward of the money they spent on Pat Cummins. Soon after the deal, the Aussie pacer has stepped away from the ongoing Big Bash League. As per reports, the Aussies cricketers are likely to arrive late in IPL 2020 as they will have international commitments.
