Personal Reason Forces the Captain to Miss the Fifth ODI

India and Australia are playing five-match ODI series and at the same time England are also hosting the Windies and that series has caught everyone’s attention for all the wrong reasons.
Ben Stoke’s brawl in Bristol landed him in jail and further the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) suspended the all-rounder until any further notice, which technically takes him out of England’s Ashes squad which was announced on Wednesday (27th September).
England sealed the five-match series with a win at the Kia Oval in the fourth One-Day International in a rain-halted encounter.
More trouble for the Windies came when their captain, Jason Holder decided not to take part in the last ODI match due to personal reasons. Team management named Jason Mohammed as the stand-in skipper in the absence if Jason Holder.
In the fourth ODI, the visitors were at one stage were in trouble after quick wickets, but then Evin Lewis decided to show what he is capable of and smashed a brilliant hundred and missed his double hundred by just 24 runs, as he suffered an injury during his marathon knock.
Windies will miss the services of both Evin Lewis and Jason Holder for the fifth ODI. The hosts will look to build momentum leading up to the Ashes, whereas the visitors will try and find their first win in this series.
