Chennai Super Kings fans have requested Suresh Raina to return to UAE for the ongoing IPL 2020. CSK, on Friday, suffered yet another crushing defeat as Delhi Capitals thrashed them by 44 runs in Dubai. The three-time champions, who started their tournament with a convincing win over defending champions Mumbai Indians, have now lost two games in a row.

Their batting department failed to deliver once again as CSK finished on 131 for 7 while chasing 176. Asked to bat first, Delhi Capitals rode on Prithvi Shaw’s fine fifty to post 175 for 3 in the allotted 20 overs. At one stage, it looked like Delhi would post something around 200 but CSK bowlers did well to restrict them under 180.

But those 175 runs turned out to be enough for Delhi Capitals as they won the game without much trouble. CSK never looked in contention to chase down the total and finished on 131 to suffer their second defeat in a row. Faf du Plessis top-scored for the side, scoring 43.

Fans plead Raina to return:

With CSK’s batting looking far from being impressive, their fans did not waste any time in requesting Suresh Raina to return to UAE. As soon as the game finished, the fans took to Twitter to request the star batsman to return to the tournament. Suresh Raina had sensationally pulled out of this year’s competition last month citing personal reasons.
