Police Arrest Influencer Sapna Gill For Allegedly Attacking Prithvi Shaw's Car – Reports

Indian Cricket Team’s dynamic batter Prithvi Shaw has got himself into unnecessary trouble. The batter along with his friend Ashish Surendra Yadav was seen in a 5-star hotel at Oshiwara on the 15th of February night. Cricket fans wanted to take a selfie with the cricketer and he agreed but the situation became out of control when Shaw said I am with my friend for dinner.

The fans were angry and according to sources, it is reported that the fans smashed the front & rear windows of Ashish Surendra Yadav’s car with a baseball stick. There was chaos when the fans accused Shaw of assaulting the woman present there named Sapna Gill.

Woman Arrested By Police

The Oshiwara police now have arrested that lady, as per India Today. A complaint was registered by Prithvi Shaw’s friend Ashish Surendra Yadav where he stated that the accused threatened false cases as they demanded money. This incident is quite shocking because the image of Prithvi Shaw has been tarnished.

Concerns for Prithvi Shaw

Prithvi Shaw has been scoring tons of runs in the domestic circuit for the last 2 years. Shaw was the skipper for the U-19 2018 WC where the team won the title. It is believed that Prithvi Shaw has some disciplinary issues which has been the main reason for not making it to India’s squad. The batter was included in New Zealand T20I Series but couldn’t get a game.

It would be interesting to see what action BCCI takes as this incident is not good for Indian Cricket and for the sport as well. Prithvi Shaw is expected to be the next big thing in World Cricket.  Prithvi Shaw had made his debut way back in 2018 against West Indies where he smashed a century and many experts believed that he has similar traits to legendary Virender Sehwag.
