It looks like not only the fans but Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Virat Kohli has no idea either over what is going on with the franchise. Ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Bengaluru-based outfit has left everyone surprised by removing its profile picture and posts from various social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
On Wednesday, the franchise’s official Instagram profile showed zero post. And with the three-time finalists not spilling the beans over the recent turn of events, the confusion among the fans and others is elevating. And Virat Kohli himself has little idea over what is going on.

On Thursday morning, Virat Kohli, who is currently in New Zealand, took to Twitter to react to RCB’s actions on social media platforms. The RCB skipper expressed his surprise over the franchise not informing him about the reason behind its action as he tweeted:
“Posts disappear and the captain isn’t informed. ? @rcbtweets, let me know if you need any help.

Virat Kohli was not the only RCB star who reacted to the franchise’s actions. Before him, Yuzvendra Chahal and AB de Villiers also expressed their surprise over the same.
“Folks at @rcbtweets, what’s happened to our social media accounts? ?? I hope it’s just a strategy break. ????” de Villiers wrote while Chahal wrote: “Arey @rcbtweets, what googly is this? Where did your profile pic and Instagram posts go?”
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Royal Challengers Bangalore could be renamed as Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of the upcoming IPL season. While there was no official statement from RCB, the club’s recent social media activity has given rise to strong speculation that a rebranding exercise, which includes a change of name, is in the offing. Their action came just a day after the club had signed a deal with a new shirt sponsor in Muthoot Fincorp Ltd.
