It seems like Mumbai team is set to get the services of their ace player Shreyas Iyer for their upcoming game against Baroda. So far, they have fared pretty poorly in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2018-19 season.

However, they would be hoping to turn the tables with the inclusion of Iyer in the playing XI.

Currently, Iyer is the part of India A side that toured New Zealand. The final ODI of the series set to be played today (December 11th) at Mount Maunganui, which means that Iyer will be available for the next game against Baroda.

They have named Shreyas Iyer in the squad, according to Mumbai’s official website. Meanwhile, the experienced campaigner in the side, Suryakumar Yadav was excluded from the side owing to his poor run.

Siddesh Lad is all set to lead the side for the upcoming fixture while the experienced campaigners in the team will help the youngster at the helm. Meanwhile, all the other youngsters have been retained to feature against Baroda.

On the other side, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who is making a comeback after his injury has somewhat infused life in the team. All in all,  an intriguing clash is on the cards.

On the other hand, Baroda collected 13 points with one win and a loss coupled with three drawn games.
