Rashid Khan Calls Out Kevin Pietersen for a Moving Lecture at BCCI Awards

Afghanistan Cricket team spinner, Rashid Khan, hailed Kevin Pietersen for a moving Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi Memorial Lecture at the BCCI awards night on June 12 (Tuesday).

Meanwhile, Pietersen became the first player from outside India to deliver the iconic speech. In a rousing address, the former England batsman stressed on the importance of Test cricket.

He also spoke at length about how necessary it is to preserve the longest format of the sport.

The Afghanistan Cricket team, who square-off against India in their debut Test was also present at the ceremony. Pietersen addressed his last portion for the speech for the Afghans, who are going through adrenaline rush.

Rashid hails Pietersen

Rashid talked highly of Pietersen’s speech and admitted it was a learning curve for him. He, who has been in top-form off late will play a crucial role in the one-off Test series.

Rashid also added the lecture was motivating and encouraging.

The former English cricketer replied finely as well!
