When it comes to social media, there are very few cricketers who are as good with the words as Ravichandran Ashwin. The India off-spinner is one of the most popular cricketers on social media thanks to his brilliant sense of humour. He has once again proved just how good he is with his remarks on social media.
In his latest social media post, Ravichandran Ashwin brutally mocked his teammates Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul over the Koffee with Karan controversy. Both Pandya and Rahul were widely slammed for their controversial and distasteful remarks on the talk show. The two were later called back from Australia and were suspended.

The entire episode finally came to an end when BCCI ombudsman Justice (Retd.) DK Jain revealed the players’ fate. Justice Jain directed Rahul & Pandya to pay Rs 1,00,000 each to families of 10 constables in para-military forces who lost their lives on duty. Jain also directed the duo to pay Rs 10,00,000 in the fund created by Cricket Association for the blind for promotion of game for the blind.

Rahul and Pandya must have moved on from that dark phase. However, the two must have recalled the entire episode on Sunday when Ravichandran Ashwin posted a hilarious post on Instagram. The off-spinner posted a picture of himself having coffee with his India teammates Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav.

And along with the photo, Ashwin hilariously wrote:
“A cup of coffee always tells you a story that you have never heard before!! ?what say @rohitsharma45 ??. @kuldeep_18 @imsohamdesai”
India, meanwhile, are currently gearing up for the upcoming home series against South Africa. The Proteas will play three T20Is and three Tests against India. All the three players – Rohit, Ashwin and Kuldeep – will be desperately hoping that they play the Tests after warming the bench in the Caribbeans.
