Indian off-spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin recently revealed that it was Matthew Hayden who made him nervous when they met for the first time. Matthew Hayden has been a legendary batsman for Australia and holds multiple records to his name in international cricket.
With all the cricketers being in isolation due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, it has given them time to interact with their fans through social media. Ravichandran Ashwin also conducted a Q&A session on his Twitter account, wherein he has made some interesting choices and revelations.

During an #AskAshwin session on Twitter, in response to a question put forth by a user, the Indian off-spinner said it was none other than former Australian opening batsman Matthew Hayden.

CSK Proved To Be The Binding Factor Between Both The Players
Ashwin and Hayden shared the same dressing room for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2009 and 2010. Hayden has played a total of 32 matches in his IPL career for CSK scoring 1107 runs at an average of 36.90. He smashed eight half-centuries during his stint with the highest score being 93.

On the other hand, Ashwin went on to play 97 matches for CSK, in which he scalped 90 wickets. In 2016, he was drafted to Rising Pune Supergiants owing to the CSK ban. He has played the last couple of seasons for Kings XI Punjab, and this year, Ravichandran Ashwin will be seen representing the Delhi Capitals franchise.
