Jemimah Rodrigues and her India teammates are enjoying their time in Australia to the fullest. The mood in the camp is upbeat after the stunning start to the campaign in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup and Jemimah Rodrigues’ recent action pretty much proves that.

Ahead of the crucial game against New Zealand on Thursday, the India women team’s batting star was seen shaking legs with a security guard. Both Jemimah Rodrigues and the guard matched each other step for step as the onlookers watched. The two were dancing on a new Bollywood track.

International Cricket Council (ICC) later posted the video with the caption:

“Yes, @JemiRodrigues! ??Busting moves with an off-duty security guard at the #T20WorldCup”

And the clip not only surprised the fans but also India spin ace Ravichandran Ashwin. The off-spinner, who is currently in New Zealand for the ongoing Test series, took to Twitter to react to the clip and made it clear with his response that he was impressed.

Meanwhile, India beat New Zealand by four runs in a thrilling encounter on Thursday to become the first team to enter the semifinal. The women in Blue had previously defeated hosts Australia and Bangladesh in the tournament. Against New Zealand, India’s bowlers once again made their mark as the defended 134.

Asked to bat first, India posted 134 for 8 in the allotted 20 overs. 16-year old Shafali Verma once again shone with the bat, scoring 46 off 34 balls at the top of the order. In reply, New Zealand put up a good fight but fell short by four runs as they finished on 129 for 6.
