Ravindra Jadeja once again displayed just why he is an ultimate three-dimensional cricket after he spearheaded CSK’s 20-run-win with bat, ball as well as in the field against SunRisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Jadeja had an almost perfect day in the Dream11 IPL on Tuesday night in Dubai. The southpaw came into bat with CSK needing quick runs to take the total past the 160-run mark.

And, Jadeja did exactly that! The southpaw smashed a whirlwind 10-ball 25- an innings which included three fours and a monstrous six- to ensure that the Super Kings posted an eventual match-winning total of 167.

Jadeja wasn’t done yet. He then proceeded to claim the prized scalp of Jonny Bairstow, courtesy a straighter delivery, one that proceeded to skid off the surface to shatter the English swashbuckler’s stumps. Jadeja eventually finished with figures of 1-21 in 3 overs.

And, then to round off the day, the champion fielder claimed two catches in the field off Priyam Garg and Vijay Shankar to help CSK assert their authority on the game. Jadeja was rightfully adjudged the ‘Player of the Match’ for his all-round display and needless to say the southpaw was pretty happy with the way he performed in all facets of the game against SRH.

”Very happy to contribute with both bat and ball. I was backing myself and I was only looking to see the ball and hit the ball without pre-planning. The wicket looks on the slower side so I was just looking to bowl into the stumps rather than give them room. It is a difficult wicket for batsmen. I take great pleasure in my fielding, and whenever I field, I always look for a good run-out or a catch for the team,” Ravindra Jadeja said in the post-match interview.
