Jason Roy, on the other hand, was in a mood to dominate the RCB bowlers and he did just that with his aggressive strokeplay. He took a particular liking to the spinners and dispatched them with ease to all parts of the ground. His innings was a mix of brute force and elegance as he played some delightful shots through the covers and also pulled and cut with authority.
Luckily for RCB, Vijay Kumar Vyshak managed to provide his team with the breakthrough as he cleaned up Jason Roy at the score of 56 off just 29 deliveries in an inning that was made up of 5 sixes and 4 fours.
