Reports: Kamlesh Nagarkoti Injured His Back, May Require a Surgery

The India Under-19 sensation Kamlesh Nagarkoti struck with bad news as latest injury rules him out from the professional cricket for a minimum of six months. If the reports are to be believed, he sustained a severe injury on his back and may require surgery as well.

Regarding the treatment, the Pacer, Nagarkoti will be making his way to London to get the treatment done. Meanwhile, the officials at National Cricket Academy (NCA) are making plans for the well-being of the youngster.

Nagarkoti will travel to London for his treatment and then take the suggestion of the doctors on whether to get under the knife or not. His back problems arose when he was undergoing treatment for his foot injury.

Speaking of the same, the NCA officials stated that they are making plans for the youngster to get the things done smoothly. Meanwhile, they are also searching for any other possible option to get it done.

“We’ve decided on a plan for Kamlesh, the NCA officials are looking into it. He will go to London soon,” a cricket operations official of the BCCI was quoted as saying to Mumbai Mirror.

The premium fast bowler Nagarkoti made rapid strides in the game of cricket to get the limelight. He has been exceptional for India in the Under-19 ICC World Cup. He later signed a contract for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Kamlesh Nagarkoti has got the opportunity to share the dressing room with many greats of the game. But, he was unfortunate to miss out on the tournament with an injury which requires surgery.

Pace sensation was ruled out without even playing a single game due to bone stress.
