Reports: Star U-19 Trio Set to Travel with 'India'A' Team to England

The champion trio of Prithvi Shaw, Shubman Gill and Shivam Mavi, are expected to tour England along with Rahul Dravid coached India ‘A’ side.
Meanwhile, some of the Test specialist, scheduled to feature in the upcoming five-match series in England, would be included in India ‘A’ lineup too.
The idea is to acclimatise the batsmen in the different conditions of England before taking on the heavyweights of Anderson and Broad. This decision came in the aftermath of complaint raised by captain Virat Kohli regarding scheduling by BCCI.
India lost the opening two games of the South African tour, as the batsmen had no prior exposure to the conditions in South Africa.
Therefore, as a matter of preparation, Virat Kohli is set to skip the one-off Test match against Afghanistan for his stint at Surrey this June.
It earlier got announced that Shreyas Iyer was allowed an opening in the absence of the Indian skipper, during the Test match against Afghanistan, who play their inaugural Test against India.

It is also expected that the winning Nidahas Trophy squad would get retained for the two-match T20I series against Ireland.
Also, in the reckoning would be India international, Ambati Rayudu. The Hyderabad batsman is the current Orange Cap holder in the IPL, scoring heaps of runs for Chennai Super Kings.
As opposed to the previous visits, India plays white-ball cricket before taking on the Three Lions in Tests.

According to the schedule, the ‘A’ tour of India in England commences with an ODI triangular series. It is slated to be played against England ‘A’ and Windies ‘A’.
Subsequently, India ‘A’ will take on the English Lions in a four-day affair. The match is placed between July 16-19 at Worcester. Also, the Indian side will take on a couple of county sides in three-day games.
