The Tasmanian, who was once the captain of Mumbai Indians, has led them to a title as a coach and picked the most dangerous player ahead of the 13th edition.

It is worth noting that Rohit Sharma overtook Ponting as the captain of the franchise in IPL 2013 and has tasted enormous success since then. The 33-year old is the most successful skipper, having led Mumbai Indians to four titles, including the previous one.
With 4898 runs at a strike rate of 130, the classy right-handed batsman is the third-highest run-getter in the tournament’s history. Apart from guiding Mumbai to four IPL victories, he has also won a competition merely as a player with Deccan Chargers in 2009. As far as Rohit’s international career goes, he has donned the Indian jersey in 224 ODIs, 108 T20Is, and 32 Tests so far, becoming one of the best openers in white-ball cricket.
