Rohit Sharma Is The Best T20 Captain In The World, Says Virender Sehwag

Virender Sehwag has called Rohit Sharma the bet T20 captain in the world after the latter led Mumbai Indians to victory in the just-concluded IPL 2020 final. The defending champions thrashed Delhi Capitals by five wickets to retain their title.
Mumbai Indians have now won IPL a record five times and all of them have come under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy in just eight years. He led from the very front in the final and top-scored in the match to help Mumbai Indians chase down a competitive total of 157 inside 19 overs without any trouble.

Rohit Sharma remained on the crease till the 17th over and never allowed Delhi Capitals to force their way back into the game. The right-handed batsman and his opening partner Quinton de Kock gave Mumbai Indians a solid star by adding 45 runs in just 4 overs.
From thereon, Mumbai Indians remained in control of the game throughout. When Rohit Sharma departed in the 17th over, they needed just 20 runs from 22 balls. The Mumbai Indians skipper scored 68 off 51 balls. Ishan Kishan also played a crucial knock, scoring 33 and remaining till the end to ensure Mumbai cross the line without any trouble.

Virender Sehwag’s special praise for Mumbai Indians and their captain:
Following the game, Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to congratulate Mumbai Indians in his own style. He hailed the franchise as the best T20 franchise in the world before calling Rohit Sharma the best T20 captain. He also praised the authorities for organising IPL in such a smooth manner in these tough times.
