He chipped in with vital contributions of 36, 159 and 63 runs respectively and was adjudged the player of the series for his aggregate score of 258 runs.
Ahead of the ODI series, Rohit Sharma failed miserably in the first two encounters as he got out for cheap scores of 8 and 15 runs respectively. However, he returned to his prime at his Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai by scoring his 19th half-century.

Rohit???s tweet came a day after India ended the year on a high with a 2-1 ODI series win against West Indies. Recalling his rich vein of form in 2019, Rohit Sharma recently told the media reporters, ???There???s an exciting year coming up. I understand my batting really well??? In fact, even better now??? But I want to play within my limits. Knowing the game plan I want to execute is very important.???
After playing a fearless brand of cricket, Rohit Sharma has been finally rested for the forthcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka. However, he is expected to make a return for the ODI series against Australia. Shikhar Dhawan, who missed cricketing action due to an injury is all set to make a comeback and will open the innings with KL Rahul who has been in scintillating form.

India and Sri Lanka will lock horns in T20I series and ODI series. The upcoming T20I series will start at Guwahati on January 5 while the second and third game will be held in Indore on January 7 and Pune on January 10 respectively.
