Rohit Sharma Wishes Happy Retirement to Brother-like-friend Praveen Kumar

Who would forget the glorious spell of Praveen Kumar in the CB series 2nd Final against Australia? It was a magical piece of bowling from the swing master to hand a sweet victory to Team India. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma recollects the memory once again to wish a happy retirement to Praveen Kumar.

Rohit Sharma, in his tweet, recollected the days he spent with Praveen Kumar in the dressing room. He quoted that they both started their cricketing career for the country at the same time before making the fond memories in the Indian dugout.

The right-handed batsman quoted saying that he had a lot of memories together with Praveen Kumar, who hanged his boots off a couple of days ago. However, he sent best wishes to Praveen Kumar for the future endeavors.

His tweet read ”We almost started at the same time playing for the country, lots of fun, laugh and good cricket. I cannot forget his spell in CB series 2nd final, it was magical. To a brother, friend and a team mate have a good retirement buddy.”

Recently, Praveen Kumar called the curtains on his career with a heartfelt note on his Twitter panel. The swing master will not feature in any form of the cricket under the BCCI stamp.

Rohit Sharma is carrying the blistering form:

Coming to the classy stroke-maker, he is in ominous form with his willow for Team India, especially, in limited overs format of the game. He smashed a brilliant century against Windies on the other night to register his name in the record books.

Meanwhile, he will be prepared for the second ODI at Vizag, which has given many fond memories to him. Further, it is expected that BCCI would ask him to feature in New Zealand A tour to consider him for the Australian Test tour.
