The cricketer-turned-commentator, Russell Arnold has always been the integral member of being involved in a controversy. He once again gets trolled by the Twitterati for his tweet during the 1st Test between England and India regarding Virat Kohli, who scored his maiden Test ton in Birmingham.

When the world is busy in cheering Kohli for his marathon knock, Arnold tried to act like he doesn’t know what is happening in the cricketing world. Later, he tried to cover it up but only worsen the issue.

Just after the stunning knock by Kohli, people took to Twitter by a storm to accolade the run machine. Meanwhile, Arnold tweeted asking the fans whats going in the world with so many tweets related to cricket.

The die-hard fans of Kohli and the anti-fans of Arnold tried to take the advantage of it and bashed the Islander with their tweets. One of them tweeted saying Arnold to ask his friend Kumara Sangakkara, who is busy in commentary panel.

Arnold’s tweet read ”What’s going on ?? So many cricket tweets flying around.” Later, asked quoting ”Oh…. is there a match on ???”

The Indian skipper answered all the critics right in his first game with a gutsy 149. Though he got a couple of chances when Dawid Malan’s butter fingers helped him, Kohli has been excellent in regaining his concentration.

Earlier in the day, India rolled out England for 287 runs on the board. In reply to the chase, Indian openers did well to pair 50-run partnership but couldn’t continue with it.

Despite wickets falling from the other end, Virat Kohli stood tall in the crease to register a marathon knock and saved India from a dangerous position.

However, India ended the day two on a high note with a wicket of Alastair Cook right at the fag end of the day.
