Sachin Tendulkar Provides Financial Aid To His Ailing Former Bat Repairer

Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary former Indian batsman, is known for his benevolent nature. Time and again, Sachin has testified what a true gentleman he is.

In another benevolent act, the ‘God of Cricket’ has come foArward to help Ashraf Chaudhary, someone who regularly fixed his bat during his 24-year-old career, as he battles his illness in the hospital.

Ashraf Chacha, as he is endearingly called in cricketing circles, is admitted to Savla Hospital for the past 12 days due to diabetes and midzone pneumonia-related complications.

Prashant Jethmalani, the bat maker’s close friend, told PTI on Tuesday that Sachin Tendulkar has come forward to bear the financial expenses.

“Tendulkar came forward and has spoken to Ashraf Chacha. He has also helped him financially. A major chunk of the finances has been donated by the legendary batsman.”

Apart from Sachin Tendulkar, Ashraf Chaudhary has repaired bats of a lot of renowned cricketers

Speaking of Ashraf Chaudhary, the bat maker has repaired bats of some of the renowned cricketers in the world which includes Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard.

The bat-maker is a constant figure in the Wankhede Stadium during the International as well as IPL matches.

The bat repairing expert owns a shop that goes by the name of M Ashraf Bro. The shop is situated at Dhobi Talao in South Mumbai, where Ashraf, in several instances, has repaired bats for free owing to his unrelenting love for the game and the players.
