Former India legend Sachin Tendulkar unveiled a new digital game featuring him and named as Sachin Saga Cricket Champions which has been developed by the JetSyntheys.

It is a leading digital entertainment and gaming firm. The aim of launching the game is to bring the Tendulkars fans closer and help them relive his cricketing journey yet again.

“The game has been designed to experience my journey”, Tendulkar said. The Master Blaster conceded that during his young days he used to play video games in the parlours. “During my stint with Yorkshire in 1992 and during 2003 World Cup in South Africa, I used to visit video parlours along with team-mates. Even at home, I do these stuff, and my son joins in too. I love doing it,” he said.

The holder of most runs and centuries in both Test and ODI cricket said the company which developed his game has been working on this project for the last couple of years and his batting has been shot at the high-tech studio in London which has filmed many James Bond movie in the past.

He further added he had to wear a special suit on his body which had 26 to 27 receptors. It captured the movements and footwork while he showed his batting skills. As many as 36 cameras were during shooting. The game speaks volume on his most important innings in his life rather than the 100 international centuries he scored.

“I must give one example – my first Ranji Trophy match was the most important for me at that point of time in my career because there were question marks whether a 15-year-old could perform, and if he doesn’t, his career is destroyed,” he said.

These were the kind of thoughts which encircled Tendulkar when he got a century which changed his career forever. JetSynthsys Non-Executive Chairman, Kris Gopalakrishnan said the company expects to at least get five million downloads in the next two to three months.

“The one million pre-registrations clearly indicate great interest shown by people on this platform, and we would like to build and improvise it based on the feedback, we get,” he said.

He further revealed he has invested in his personal capacity for the business but didn’t disclose the numbers.
