Sachin Tendulkar Reveals Why His Wife Never Came to the Stadium to Watch Him Play

Legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar has recently revealed a unique reason why his wife Anjali Tendulkar never came to the stadium to watch him play.
Sachin, meanwhile, was recently present in chat show ‘Breakfast with Champions’ hosted by Gaurav Kapur. The batting maestro revealed some shocking and interesting facts about his cricketing career and his family.
Among all things, Sachin also talked about his wife Anjali, who has been a pillar to his success. Moreover, he has always talked about her highly and credited her for all his success.
It has been a common scenario where wives and girlfriends come to the stadium – to cheer beloved ones. Recently, in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), we have witnessed the wives of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina respectively showing their support during the matches.
Anjali, however, didn’t came to the stadium to support his husband. During the chat, Sachin made an interesting revelation that because of her superstitions she didn’t come to the stadium.
Sachin recalled an incident about his wife that once upon a time, cricketers wives had asked her to come to the stadium but she refused them by saying that she’s superstitious.
However, Sachin didn’t like his family to come to the stadium as it distracts his focus. The Mumbaikar also told that Anjali said that she doesn’t want to come.
Sachin said that ‘when the ladies insisted her to join them and also promised her that they will hide her from Sachin eyes. Later, she agreed to come with them.
Meanwhile, she came to watch the 2003 Boxing Day Test against Australia.
However, unluckily, Sachin was out on the 1st ball of Brett Lee which was caught by Gilchrist. On that day, she decided not to visit the ground anymore.
Later, Anjali came to the stadium during the farewell Test for Sachin Tendulkar in Mumbai.
