Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar, has had great memories with his former teammate Parthiv Patel when playing for India. Parthiv made his India debut at a tender age. However, he has been inconsistent throughout his career. Meanwhile, Sachin wished his former teammate on his 33rd birthday.

Further, Parthiv, who made his Test debut way back in 2002 against England is celebrating his 33rd birthday today. Since then, Parthiv has played only 25 Test matches, 38 ODIs and 2 T20I games for the men in blues.

Meanwhile, Parthiv last represented India during the recently concluded South Africa series. He replaced injured Wriddhiman Saha in the second Test. However, he failed to capitalise on the opportunity as he scored only 56 runs in the four innings. Eventually, India lost the series 2-1.

Sachin wishes his former teammate:

Sachin, who is active on social media wished Parthiv and longed for a great year ahead. Further, Sachin urged him to play the game with the same determination he has been doing. The little master took to Twitter to wish Parthiv.

To the boy who hasn’t aged… Happy Birthday, @parthiv9! Have a great year ahead and play the game with as much determination as you have been doing,” Sachin tweeted.

Meanwhile, Sachin is currently the brand ambassador of the Mumbai T20 League, which will make its debut this year.

On the other hand, Parthiv didn’t have a good Vijay Hazare Trophy for Gujarat as he failed to get going with the bat. However, it is expected that he will come stronger in the upcoming season.
